The Work We Take On
Most of the doors we work on in Paradise sit on homes built between 1963 and 1990, with the median build year landing around 1976. That means torsion springs sized for the panel weights and bracket styles common to that stretch of construction, not the lighter setups you'd find on a house built last year. What We Do Not Take On
We don't fabricate custom wood carriage doors or handle the kind of architectural millwork some homes call for, that's a different trade with different tools. We don't install security gates, fences, or do structural framing repairs to the opening itself; if your header or jamb is rotted or out of square, you need a contractor before you need us. We also won't sell you a new opener when the actual problem is a bad sensor or a burnt-out capacitor, if the cheaper repair still leaves you with a door that has life left in it, we say so instead of upselling. On some of the oldest doors still standing from the 1963-1990 building years, replacement parts for a specific bracket or hinge pattern can take longer to source than a same-week repair.
